Four days of nil

Wild is the Wind, George Michael

Apart from juggling two books (which in my case is unusual since I'm not a huge bibliomaniac), I have managed to spend some time to see new movie releases and excursions to The Whitney. Not to mention my current obsession to George Michael's version of Wild is the Wind. Listening to that song over and over again just makes me want to fall in love. Not necessarily with someone but perhaps with the idea.

Clair de Lune, Claude Debussy

Of course to prolong this romanticism that's intravenously coursing through my system, I present one of the classics. I am sure I've heard this music a long time ago and have just recently found more about it. Music that is caressingly painful and dramatically subtle intertwines with my current mood. When I heard this track in a film, I mouthed to myself: "If only I can make photographs with emotional content." It would be lovely. Lovely like an interesting scent that can never be found any where else.

These two photographs have nothing to do with the music being featured on this entry. I thought I'd revisit some things I should not take for granted.

Just listened to "Wild is the Wind" - it's splendidly melancholy, isn't it? Just the kind of song you'd like to listen to while you perch on a window seat, chin on your knees, watching the rain fall down, smoking a cigarette.
